Using a variety of tools, we provide a full range of reliable crime and safety information, including Emergency Alerts and Crime Alerts which fulfill the requirements of the Clery Act.

Daily Crime & Fire Log

The purpose of the Daily Crime and Fire Log is to record all criminal incidents, alleged criminal incidents, and fires that are reported to DPSS.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) is part of our commitment to transparency, and efforts to keep the university community informed of reported crimes, and available safety programs and services.

Clery Compliance

A safe campus environment is essential to your success at U-M. In compliance with the Clery Act, DPSS and the university track crimes occurring on and near campus and offer that information to the U-M community and the public.
